This Moving and Handling training for carers offers staff in the health and social care sector the practical skills required to look after themselves and assist their patients correctly to give them the best support possible when aiding their mobility.
Candidates will learn essential moving and handling skills and knowledge of the mandatory rules, guidelines and legal musts, which need to be met.

- The movement and transfer of people.
- Certification:
A certificate of attendance is awarded on completion of the course.
- Duration
The course consists of a minimum of 3 contact hours.

Up to 15 candidates can attend and must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
