Client control measures during the COVID-19 pandemic

The following measures must be in place, and met in order for tutor-led training to take place during the COVID-19 epidemic:

By you, the client;

• The size of the room is to enable safe distancing guidelines of 2m per learner, plus instructor(s) to be met
• Adequate ventilation in the rooms by opening doors / windows
• Safe distancing guidelines will also allow for entry and exit whilst still adhering to these measures
• Learners must communicate at the start of the course is they, or a member of their household have had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days
• Learners must inform us if they display symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days of completing the course
• Appropriate PPE supplied to all staff as per your risk assessment
• Frequent access to hand washing / sanitising facilities
• Hard surfaces to be cleaned before and after the training as per your risk assessment

By us, the training provider;

• Learners given COVID-19 briefing at start of course including symptom instructions
• 2m distancing guidelines to be actively encouraged
• Regular hand washing and sanitising actively encouraged
• Manikins sanitised after each learner (no manikin clothing to be worn)
• Manikin lungs and valves replaced after each course
• Training adjusted to reduce learner contact by the increased use of videos and Q&A sessions
• Wipes and gloves available for all learners
• Bandaging adapted to enable safe social distancing
• Assessment process adapted to enable safe social distancing
